Because I learned something from running online businesses for twenty years: systems only work if someone actually cares about maintaining them. And the only way to guarantee that level of care is to do it yourself - at least until you find people who share your standards.

My ecommerce background taught me how to build systems that work. My bartending experience taught me how to read people and communicate face-to-face. My years of dealing with terrible service companies taught me exactly what not to do. All of that comes together in how I run All Ways Organic. And yeah, it's exhausting sometimes. But it's also the only way I know how to do it right.
