All Ways Organic Citrus Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning of Arizona

The City of Surprise is once again partnering with Vitalant Blood Donation to host the annual “Battle of the Badges” blood drive. This community event is a friendly competition between the Surprise Fire-Medical Department and the Surprise Police Department, giving residents the chance to donate blood while showing support for their local first responders.

📅 When: Thursday, September 11 | 9 AM – 1 PM

📍 Where: Surprise City Hall Community Room, 16000 N. Civic Center Plaza

Participants can choose to support either Surprise Police or Surprise Fire-Medical when they give blood, and at the end of the day, the department with the most donors will earn bragging rights. Beyond the rivalry, every donation plays a critical role in saving lives.

Vitalant notes that an average of 5,500 blood donations are needed daily to meet patient needs. As a nonprofit, all donations stay local, helping families and individuals right here in our community. Donors who participate will also have a chance to win one of two $10,000 gift cards as part of Vitalant’s September donor rewards program.

For questions or to schedule your appointment, visit Vitalant’s website and use Blood Drive Code p1T62. Walk-ins will be accepted, but those with appointments will be given priority.

Why Local Businesses Care

At All Ways Organic Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning, we’re proud to support community events like the Battle of the Badges. Just as clean, fresh spaces can improve health and comfort at home, blood donations directly improve the health and comfort of families throughout Surprise and beyond.

Both are about creating a better environment—whether that’s through providing lifesaving blood donations or restoring clean, healthy spaces to live in. Supporting events like this reminds us that community well-being goes far beyond our individual homes—it’s about showing up for one another in ways big and small.

We encourage everyone who can to come out and support this important cause. Together, we can make a difference in both the lives of our neighbors and the overall health of our community.
